Jeremy was born in San Macros, Texas but now lives in Lockhart where he is married to Karli Rodriguez and has 3 lovely children. His favorite restaurant is the Crazy Cajun in Port Aransas and loves Frosted Mini Wheats.

Aaron was born in Victoria, Texas and is not married to anyone in the band, although he is married and they just recently bought a house, which is exciting.  Aarons favorite resturant is Chick-fil-A, and loves him some Cap'n Crunch!

Like Mr. Jons, Michael did not get back to me either, so I will just go off what I know.  People call him BoomBoom well just Zek, but still, he just recently proposed to his girlfriend and she said NO, just kidding she said YES, so that is exciting.. other than that he works at a bank, and takes all our money, yes he is one of "those" guys!

Karli was born in Yoakum Texas and is married to Jeremy and like him, has 3 lovely children!  Karli loves PF Changs and hates it when Micah cuts her microphone when she tries to tell the punch line to a joke. Just FYI her middle name is Jean.

Don't know much about Ron, because he never got back to me on his bio, so I will just make stuff up!  Just kidding,  I know he is married and has a pretty nice studio that Soundwave uses to record their music,  I guess if he gives me more I can post more...

About Us

SOUNDWAVE, led by lead singer and guitarist Jeremy Rodriguez, was formed back in 2005, along with his wife Karli Rodriguez (vocals and guitar), Ron Johns Jr. (keys/synths), Michael Rodriguez (drums), Aaron Simcik (bass), Micah Petrea (FOH), and Jeff Lopez (lights/media). We have played at coffee shops, festivals, clubs and churches for various events all over Texas.

SOUNDWAVE’s vision is to bring the presence of God with our message of Hope and Truth to this generation.  They released their first independent project entitled, “Awaken the Sleepers,” in 2007 and have just released their new EP, “Limitless,” in January 2011.  Soundwave expects to release their second full-length album in the summer of 2011.
